Karan Johar’s Praise for Saiyaara
Bollywood producer-director Karan Johar gave a fitting reply to a troll who referred to him as “Nepo child ka daijaan (nanny or caregiver)” after he appreciated Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda’s debut film, Saiyaara.
- The film made waves at the box office, collecting Rs 83 crore in its first weekend.
- On Monday, July 21, three days after its release, Karan congratulated the lead pair and the makers on the movie’s box office success.

“@sometimesasil chup kar!!! Ghar baithe baithe negativity mat paal nahin dharma ke sagheee! Do bachon ka kaam dekh!! And do some work of your own (Shut up!!! Stop sitting at home being negative! Observe what the two kids are doing; do some work yourself).”

“I can’t remember the last time I came out of a film with such a high. Tears pouring and it is overwhelming… Happiness because a love story has won the silver screen and India fell in love…”
He continued:
