“Bahut interesting laga. My shoot was different—the others shot separately. I only had one day of shooting with them. But they are very senior actors. Shivaji Satam, Daya… they’ve been part of CID for many years but never show off their seniority. They work with everyone equally, and a rapport is built.
I know Shivaji sir from the time we used to do Marathi stage plays together. He is a very good human being. He takes care of everyone. Daya, Aditya, and the rest are all the same.
Before scenes, they discuss: ‘Sir, shall we do it this way or that way?’ That brings ease for everyone. That’s why working with them is easy.”
Why He Took the Role
Sanjay also revealed that he accepted the role of SOS (Superintendent Omkar Sawant) because he genuinely loved the character.
“CID is a good show, but I really loved the character, and that is why I did the show.”
