Bollywood actress Triptii Dimri is currently on a promotional spree for her upcoming romantic drama Dhadak 2, co-starring Siddhant Chaturvedi. The film is set to release on August 1, 2025.
Ahead of the release, both Triptii and Siddhant are all ears about the film. In one of her recent chats, Triptii opened up about her most important project – Spirit, which is helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and stars Prabhas. Triptii had replaced Deepika Padukone in the film.

While the actress continues to impress in her versatile avatars, she shared insights on what it’s like working with Vanga.
When asked if her Kabir Singh and Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga differs from Dhadak 2 director Shazia Iqbal, Triptii praised both for their unique styles and how they bring something new that aids her as an actor.
She said:
“Yeah, it’s good to work with different directors, because you learn so much. There’s nothing more personal and subjective than what one likes, and you’re lucky that a filmmaker whose work, style, and approach you value wants to work with you. But at the same time, they bring their own sensibility, their own energy to the project and that, by design, encourages you to change up and grow. I have only worked with Vishal, and that film is also releasing so I am also excited about that,” she added.
Why Did Deepika Padukone Walk Out of Spirit?
The dust-up over Bollywood star Deepika Padukone’s disagreement with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga led her to quit the movie Spirit and ignited a wider discussion on work-life balance in the Indian film industry.

- Deepika reportedly demanded an eight-hour workday along with other professional terms.
