Drishyam 3: Jeethu Joseph THREATENS to Drag Ajay Devgn Starrer Film’s Team to Court – Here’s Why

Jeethu Joseph warns Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 3 team of legal action over Hindi remake plans

Legal Warning from Jeethu Joseph

Jeethu Joseph, who is directing the third part of Drishyam, has warned Ajay Devgn’s film team of taking legal action.

The reason?
Mohanlal’s Drishyam 3 Malayalam movie, directed by Jeethu Joseph, is currently underway. The film has not even taken off yet, and when a leading daily asked him about the situation in an interview with Matrubhumi, the filmmaker set the record straight.

He quashed rumours suggesting that the Hindi version with Ajay Devgn would begin shooting before the Malayalam film. The director clearly stated that he warned the team he would sue to make sure that never happens.

Drishyam 3 Hindi Version Will NOT Roll First

Jeethu, who is also gearing up for the release of his web series Interview, explained his stance:

  • He stopped the Hindi makers of Drishyam 3 with Ajay Devgn from going on floors first.
  • “The Malayalam is the original, and I did the Hindi version,” he said.
  • He added, “There were pressures on doing a Malayalam and Hindi version together, but we haven’t taken a final call on that. Originally, there were some plans to begin with Hindi also, but when a hint was given that this would be legally challenged, they stepped back.”

Rumours About Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 3

  • Earlier, reports suggested that Ajay Devgn’s Hindi Drishyam 3 would start shooting soon.
  • However, Jeethu Joseph trashed these rumours, stating that he is still scripting the film.
  • He clarified that the Malayalam version will begin in October this year, followed by the Hindi remake.

Drishyam 3 Climax Completed

Jeethu Joseph revealed:

  • He completed writing the climax of Drishyam 3 last night.
